Synopsis:
- Software defined capabilities in electronic warfare exploit improvements in digitization and processing such that emissions and signals are becoming more dynamic, complex, and changeable. Training operators and proving equipment to detect, identify and react to threat signals is of paramount importance.
- D-TA has revolutionized EW simulation and testing. D-TA’s concept of I/Q data streaming from computer hard drives for EW signal emulation has been a game changer. It has simplified system architecture, removed limits on how many emitters can be simulated and for how long they can emit. Most importantly, our delivery has drastically cut cost by more than an order of magnitude.
- US test and evaluation ranges including the Pacific Missile Test Range and Fort Huachuca have adopted D-TA’s solutions. D-TA also solved a USAF need for a particularized radar signal emulator for space objects tracking, provided the US Navy with a pulse-on-pulse and directional signal simulation, and enabled the US Army to simultaneously fire up over 20 RF transmitters to emulate a battlefield environment by a single operator.
