DTA’s next-generation MFEL-5000 ESM/ELINT solution includes an antenna array with integrated 4-channel phase-coherent receivers (called a Remote Radio Head, RRH) that provide base band I/Q data over 100 GbE optical fibers to a Base Band Processor (BBP: a rugged RAID server). The RRH & BBP combination is designed to offer 0.5-40 GHz frequency coverage, wide field of view, fast reaction time, high POI, and pulse-by pulse DF with 1 degree accuracy. Any number of RRH and BBP pair can be used in parallel to provide required azimuthal and elevation coverage. The compact, light weight, rugged and low-power system can be deployed in any platform.
