D-TA’s MRSE-5000-4T (Four RF transmit channels) is a highly versatile radar signal emulator that is designed to create an Electromagnetic Operational Environment (EMOE). It is the only wideband radar signal emulator available in the market that is based on (I/Q) data streaming from deep memories (computer hard drives). It is well understood that a complex basedand (I/Q) time series data can adequately represent any waveform. An environment, comprising of multitudes of signal waveforms can be represented by linear summation of (I/Q) time series data for each signal. As a result the (I/Q) streaming concept for RF emulation, can create unlimited emitter density. No signal has to be dropped, instead signals can be scaled to fit a given dynamic range.
