US Army’s Synthetic Battlefield Emitter System (SBES) generates dense and realistic open air electromagnetic operating environments (EMOEs) to ensure the effectiveness of their Electronic Warfare (EW) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) systems, and to train their warfighters in operationally relevant environments prior to deployment.
D-TA Systems was selected under a competitive bidding process by General Dynamics Mission Systems (GD-MS) to deliver numerous RFvision-1 EMOE simulator systems for SBES. Through the SBES program, D-TA has delivered several remotely controllable RFvision-1 EMOE simulators for installation at the US Army’s Electronic Proving Grounds (EPG) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. GD-MS has successfully completed both the Initial Operational Capabilities and the Full Operational Capabilities for SBES at EPG. Due to the success of the program at EPG, the US Army is extending SBES to the Yuma Proving Grounds (YPG), where D-TA will continue to provide RFvision-1 systems to synthesize operationally relevant EMOEs for testing and training.
